HANNOVER MESSE 2009: 20 to 24 April
In recent years, HANNOVER MESSE has established itself as a central hub of the international energy technology business. The fair's significance to the energy sector hinges on two key factors: First, internationally influential representatives from business, politics and industry use HANNOVER MESSE as a platform for discussing the latest developments and for launching concrete projects. Second, HANNOVER MESSE features the complete spectrum of tomorrow's energy mix. Exhibits at the show cover the full range of renewable and conventional generation systems, right alongside the associated transmission and distribution technologies.
The concept is internationally unique: HANNOVER MESSE is without equal in terms of its ability to illustrate in a concrete and transparent fashion how the different generation technologies can be integrated to create an efficient, secure, competitive and sustainable future energy mix.
HANNOVER MESSE 2009 comprises no less than three leading energy fairs, which is why the show's energy offering will again be the focus of attention of local and international attendees:
Energy: This world leading exhibition features technology and services covering the entire value chain of the energy business, from energy generation, transmission, distribution, through to application. A particular highlight of next year's show will be the hydrogen/fuel cell display category. Other themes include renewables, eMobility, subcontracting and grid control systems.
Power Plant Technology: Focuses on innovative technologies and concepts as well as subcontracting services associated with the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of power stations. The fair covers both major power stations and distributed industrial generation plants, such as cogeneration / CHP facilities.
Wind: Premier event in 2009. Historically, wind energy exhibits were part of the Renewables section of the Energy show. As from 2009, Wind will feature as an internationally leading tradeshow in its own right at HANNOVER MESSE. Wind, which covers wind generation technology, componentry and services, will be staged every two years in Hannover.
The WORLD ENERGY DIALOGUE will be held for the fourth time in 2009. Here, high-caliber representatives from industry and politics will discuss the topical issue of energy supply security.
HANNOVER MESSE is the world's most important technology fair. Apart from Energy, main display categories include Industrial Automation, Power Transmission, Mobility, Subcontracting and Future Technologies. Korea will be the official Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE 2009.
