PNE Continues to Successfully Broker PPAs

In view of the expiry of the fixed remuneration for many wind farms in the near future in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act in Germany, there is a clear demand from operators for PPAs in order to be able to continue the operation of these wind farms economically.

PNE AG has again further expanded its positioning in the brokerage business of power purchase agreements (PPAs) in 2020. With an additional volume of around 300 gigawatt hours (GWh), PNE was able to expand its previously brokered PPA volume to over 140 MW of installed wind capacity.

In view of the expiry of the fixed remuneration for many wind farms in the near future in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), there is a clear demand from operators for PPAs in order to be able to continue the operation of these wind farms economically.
