This week: The Windfair 2011 Technical Symposium
On September 22, 2011 we will be meeting with experts from across the wind industry at our yearly Technical Symposium.
The participants can expect a full program of highly qualified speakers who specialize in the technology seen throughout the wind energy industy.
The Technical Symposium will focus this year on the latest Turbine developments from such firms as Nordex, Siemens, and The Switch/Moventas.
Additional themes will be Rotor Blade technology as presented from 3M, Sinoi, Future Carbon and Fibercheck.
Other topics include: Condition Monitoring presented by Availon, Bachmann and 8punkt2; Cable Sealing Systems presented by Roxtec; Lubrication Systems presented by Bayer and Köppel; and Screw Monitoring by Plarad.
An update on the current global market will be given by the VDMA (Verband deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer e.V.). The GL (Germanischer Lloyd) will provide an outlook on global turbine exports.
For the first time this year Windfair will be accepting sponsorship applications for the Symposium.
