Exhibition Ticker - 4th WIND POWER AFRICA
Dear members and friends of the African Wind Energy Association,
Please diarize the 28th to 30th of May 2012
4th WIND POWER AFRICA Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition is to be held at the Cape Town International Conference Centre.
This year's very successful 3rd WIND POWER AFRICA Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition in May had as theme:
"We will harvest the sun, wind and wave to fuel our cars and factories"
- 65 highly qualified scientists, industrialists and renewable energy stake holders from all continents of the world presented and passed on their valuable knowledge.
- All confirmed the importance of Wind generated electricity in tandem with other forms of renewable energy resources for the future fossil free transport industries.
- Next year's 4th WPA will be taking you a further large step forward in assessing the use of renewable energies as Sun, Wind, Water and Geothermal. The theme of the conference is:
The 4th Revolution - Energy Autonomy":
- 100 % Energy from Renewables
South Africa can go 100% Renewable - View the Report
"A sustainable Energy Outlook for South Africa" http://budurl.com/mercomader
Experts at the Institute of Thermal Thermodynamics at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), the Dutch Institute Ecofys, the Institute for Sustainable Future (Sydney), and the European Renewable Energy Council also worked on the report with Green Peace. The plan put forth offers South Africa independence from a fluctuating and volatile market, cuts national debt, creates jobs, safeguards scarce natural resources like water, and will protect the environment for future generations.
Finally we would like again to thank not only our chair persons and speakers of this year's 3rd WPA but also the sponsors and exhibitors listed below. Without you this conference would have not been possible.
THANK YOU
With kind regards
Hermann Oelsner
