USA - German American Chamber to co-host wind energy delegation from Germany

German American CoC hosts eight German companies in wind power industry visiting Denver in search of business opportunities in Rocky Mountain Region

The Colorado Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC-CO) and the Colorado CleanTech Industry Association (CCIA) will host a breakfast networking reception in Denver with a delegation of eight wind energy companies visiting from Germany in search of business opportunities.

The event is set for Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 7:30 to 9:30am followed by individual meetings between attendees and the German companies.

These German industry leaders (background information available on the GACC-CO Website) want to develop relationships with a variety of Colorado wind energy industry contacts including: wind turbines OEMs, turbine tools suppliers, turbine construction companies, project development companies, firms with transmission experience, wind energy technology suppliers, wind farm designers, construction companies and contractors responsible for concrete foundations, and operations & maintenance companies responsible for ongoing maintenance of existing wind farms.

In addition to co-hosts GACC-CO and CCIA, event sponsors are the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade, Anton Law Group, Prairie Development Corporation in Stratton and Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP.

The GACC-CO also noted several future events for its members and friends.

In November the GACC-CO offers Treffpunkt Business (international business networking for opportunities in Germany) at India’s Pearl restaurant in Denver at 6pm on Thursday, November 18. For more info, see www.GACC-CO.org.
