The beginnings of constructing the largest production base of rotor blades and CNG gas cylinders in North China

Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China, May 19th 2008. The ceremony for the rotor blade and CNG gas cylinder project of Lianyungang Zhongfu Lianzhong Composites Group Co., Ltd. (LZFRP) – the sole shareholder of SINOI – was held in the Economic and Technology Development area of the city of Shenyang, Liaoning province, China. The project is being funded by LZFRP, the core enterprise of China Composites Group Corporation Ltd. (CCGC). The total investment sum is 500,000,000 RMB with an area of 160,000 square metres. After the completion of the project, the annual output will amount to 500 sets of 1.5 MW rotor blades and 170,000 gas cylinders with a sales volume of 1,000,000,000 RMB.

In 2005, Shenyang Zhongfu Kejin Pressure Vessels Ltd. was established by CCGC and the Institute of Metal of the Chinese Academy of Science in Shenyang. The Al-Alloy liner and self-contained underwater breathing apparatus produced by Zhongfu Kejin feature prominently on the domestic market and have generally been well-received in domestic and foreign markets. In accordance with the general policy of the China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM), CCGC set up the new industrial base in the Tiexi district of Shenyang. The goal is to establish the largest production base of rotor blades and CNG gas cylinders in North China.

Song Zhi-Ping, President of CNBM, Li Ji-An, Deputizing Committee Member of the municipal party committee of Shenyang city and Secretary of the Tiexi district committee of the Communist Party of China, Li Song-Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Tiexi district committee of the Communist Party of China, Zhang Ding-Jin, President of CCGC, Xue Ji-Rui, Deputy General Manager of CCGC, Ren Gui-Fang, President of LZFRP, Qiao Guang-Hui, General Manager of LZFRP, Jürgen Simon, Production Director of SINOI GmbH and Carsten Zaremba, Commercial Director of SINOI GmbH, all attended the ceremony. The Master of Ceremonies was Nan Yang, Deputy General Manager of LZFRP and General Manager of Shenyang Kejin.

P.S. Before the ceremony took place, a serious earthquake devastated the county of Wenchuan in the Sichuan province, affecting 1,300,000,000 Chinese. CCGC swiftly made an alteration to the ceremony; during the ceremony, Mr Zhang Ding-Jin expressed his condolences for the victims of the Wenchuan earthquake and his respect towards those working in its aftermath to find survivors. Ren Gui-Fang said that the companies would donate the proceedings of the ceremony to the county of Wenchuan, and that they hoped that the difficulties brought on by the earthquake could be overcome.
