Another challenging year is coming to an end. 2023 has certainly not unfolded as we had envisioned. The conflict in Ukraine persisted, and a new war began with the terrorist attack by Hamas, depicting scenes of destruction.

COP28, the latest climate conference, leaves us with mixed feelings. The budget crisis triggered by the clarifying decision of the German Federal Constitutional Court is currently creating gaps in the funding for parts of the energy transition, leaving many uncertainties about Germany's readiness to tackle future challenges.
Nevertheless, there are many positive signs of change, and the determination to prevent the worst scenarios of the climate crisis is increasing across the board. The accelerated expansion of renewable energies has been recognized, particularly at the climate conference, as the key building block for future climate neutrality. At this point, we are working together with you, and look forward to continue this collaboration.
