Turkey - Epuron enters the wind power market
Epuron GmbH and the Turkish building company Ataseven are planning the construction of large wind parks in Turkey.
The two companies have submitted ten wind energy projects with a total power of 3,000MW to the national energy authority EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) for approval.
The joint venture is expecting to be awarded the licence in 2009. Only then will the final project volume be determined. Ataseven is responsible for the infrastructure work in the joint venture.
Epuron is responsible for the location development and financing of the wind parks via international major banks and investors.
