Minister Simon Coveney officially opens company’s new headquarters
Statkraft Ireland was joined by Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney on Friday (6 October), for the official opening of its new office in Cork Airport Business Park. The Norwegian state-owned company, which on 1 October also celebrated five years in Ireland, has witnessed significant expansion of its workforce and project portfolio over the past five years. The number of employees working for the company has more than tripled to 126 since 2018, when Statkraft, Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy, acquired the Irish and UK wind development businesses of the Element Power Group.
