India - Suzlon Energy receives order for 100 MW capacity
Suzlon Energy said that the Suzlon Energy (Tianjin), China, the wholly owned subsidiary of the company, inked two new orders with the Jingneng Group, China`s leading power project developers.
The contracts call for a total of 100 MW of capacity, to be delivered by May 2008 of which the first order calls for a delivery of 33 units of S82 -1.5 MW turbines, and the second for 40 units of S64 - 1.25 MW turbines.
Suzlon Energy was incorporated in the year 1995. It is India`s largest and world`s sixth largest wind-energy provider. The company provides total solutions in wind power generation with cohesive integration of consultancy, design, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance services. Its products include the integrated service for wind turbines and wind parks.
