Naturgy commissions Torozos II wind farm in Valladolid

Naturgy has commissioned the Torozos II wind farm, its second wind farm in Castromonte (Valladolid) in northern Spain.

With an installed capacity of 35.20 MW, the project has required an investment of more than 39 million euros. The wind farm consists of 16 wind turbines and is expected to generate around 101.5 GWh of energy annually, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of more than 29,100 households. More than 460 direct and indirect jobs have been created through the construction, operation and maintenance of the wind farm.

With the commissioning of Torozos II, Naturgy now has an installed capacity of more than 780 MW of renewable energy in Castilla y León, distributed among 24 wind farms, 9 hydropower plants and 1 photovoltaic plant.
