Ramboll wins another offshore wind contract in Asia

Ramboll has been contracted by CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd. (CLP Power) as the owner’s technical engineer and advisor for the pre-development phase of their Hong Kong Offshore Wind Farm off the coast of Sai Kung, Hong Kong.

CLP Power has started the preliminary engineering studies, collection of environmental data, and stakeholder communications for the proposed Hong Kong Offshore Wind Farm as part of the ongoing feasibility study. The potential offshore wind farm shall be located in the southeastern waters of Hong Kong and will consist of 17-31 wind turbines with a total capacity of approximately 250MW.
