TÜV SÜD wins contract for the wind and energy yield assessment of a 400 MW offshore wind farm project in Korea
TÜV SÜD has announced that it has won the contract for wind condition analysis and AEP (annual energy production) assessment services for the next phase of an offshore wind farm project off the south-west coast of South Korea, which started commercial operation in 2019.
Supervised by Korea Offshore Wind Power Corp., the offshore wind farm project has a capacity of 2.5 GW and is thus in the large-scale category of offshore wind farm projects. The second stage of the project provides for capacity of 400 MW, the highest in South Korea after the country’s 60 MW demonstration wind farm.
