The ABWP project is a 520 MW offshore wind farm located approximately 12 km off the coast of Wicklow in the Irish Sea. The ABWP project is the most advanced Irish offshore wind project and is expected to be completed by 2025 under the Foreshore Act. It will make a significant contribution to achieving the target of 1 GW of offshore wind by 2025 set out in the Irish Government's Climate Plan and the Government's programme for commitment to 5 GW by 2030.

The conceptual engineering carried out by Ramboll and GDG will facilitate the technical evaluation of the preferred foundation solutions and will allow the dimensioning of the foundations to develop accurate cost estimates for the upcoming auction in 2021.

Both companies have already carried out work for the project and are therefore well acquainted with the situation.
