Nordex Wins Contract in Brazil
Image: NordexNordex has received a contract from energy company COPEL - Companhia Paranaense de Energia - for the delivery and installation of 26 AW132/3465 turbines in Brazil. The contract also comprises the servicing of the turbines over a period of 20 years.
The 90-MW "Jandaíra Copel" wind farm will be built in the state of Rio Grande do Norte near the city of Jandaíra in eastern Brazil. All components will be manufactured in Brazil. The wind farm is scheduled for completion in summer 2022.
The contract awarded by COPEL - Companhia Paranaense de Energia is the second one which the Nordex Group has received from a public utility in Brazil.
