Vestas receives 24 MW US wind turbine order

Vestas Wind Systems said it has received an order for a total of 24 MW of its V90-3.0 MW wind turbine from Alite Wind, LLC for an undisclosed sum. The order marks the first phase of the Alta Wind Energy Center, which is under development in Tehachapi, California, Vestas said. Vestas will supply and commission the wind turbines as well as provide maintenance and service for a five-year period, the group said.
