USA - Sustainable Energy Developments, Inc. Joins with Northern Power Systems to Offer New Cost Effective 100kW Wind Energy Option
An exciting new market partnership between Sustainable Energy Developments, Inc. (SED), a wind power project developer in Upstate NY, and Northern Power Systems (NPS), a wind turbine manufacturer in Vermont, will provide customers with a cost-effective 100kW option to power their small business, farm, school or municipal project with environmentally friendly wind energy. Using NPS’s state of the art NorthWind®100 turbines, SED can now offer a highly reliable, economically beneficial, renewable energy source for moderate sized applications.
“We’ve been searching for a dependable wind turbine to meet the needs of many businesses and organizations in this region that fall between the small scale homeowner and large industrial power consumers,” said Kevin Schulte, SED Consulting VP. “The NorthWind®100 fits the bill perfectly, and we’re very pleased to be able to partner with as reputable a company as NPS to market this turbine.”
The American made NorthWind®100, is a 100kW wind turbine that has been engineered to provide state of the art, on-site power generation. This wind turbine builds upon the company’s experience in harsh, off-grid wind power applications and recognized expertise in distributed, grid-tied power generation. The design lends itself to all-weather maintenance, lower operating costs and seamless connection to the North American electric grid.
The venture between SED and NPS will begin this month when the two companies plan to exhibit their product and services at trade shows in the Northeast. “We know that there are many applications for this wind turbine. We’re getting calls from towns and businesses that are looking for ways to reduce their energy bills and do something good for the environment,” said Mr. Schulte. “It’s great to have this new wind turbine option to meet their goals.”
