Time's Up for Offshore Wind Extensions Opportunity

The Crown Estate yesterday closed its application process for offshore wind farm extension projects. This follows the announcement in February this year.

Since February 2017 when the opportunity launched, 8 applications have been received, representing potential for up to 3GW of new capacity on the seabed around England and Wales.    The Crown Estate will now embark on the process of assessment of the applications.
