Christoph Eisner Appointed Managing Director of juwi Australia
Christoph Eisner brings with him a wealth of global management and operational experience in Energy, Control Systems, Engineering and Operations Management in various organizations and geographies. In his most recent role, he served as the Regional Director of Asia Pacific for Nynas AB – a global player in the specialty chemicals industry. He was responsible for managing subsidiaries in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and the Philippines. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Nynas Australian subsidiary. Key successes include growing Nynas from a small start-up organization in Australia to a major regional player from 1996 to 2012. Prior to that, he held various commercial and project lead positions at Alstom and Honeywell. He is an active member of the Australian Institute of Energy and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors amongst others. He received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
“Banking on the successful completion of world’s largest Hybrid Diesel-Solar-Battery power plant in the Sandfire project, in Christoph we are looking to have an experienced person partnering with Andrew Drager and the whole team to further expand the hybrid segment in the mining sector and also manage the growing utility scale on-grid PV business in Australia”, Raghuram Natarajan, Regional Director of Asia Pacific, emphasises. “Together with Christoph, I am happy to support juwi Australia in its growth ambitions within the Australian market in my new role as the Head of Business Development” says Andrew Drager.
