USA – The AWEA announces the AWEA Renewable Portfolio Standards Workshop
The AWEA Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) Workshop will provide
attendees with a solid understanding of the legislative, regulatory, and business issues faced in the design and implementation of RPS policies. The workshop is intended to educate all RPS stakeholders on how to design an effective RPS and how to operate within legislative and regulatory provisions.
This day and a half program will focus on the design of RPS policies that determine the demand for wind and other renewable resources, including lessons from states in each region of the country. The workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to understand the business and policy impacts of a state RPS. Join us for prime networking time with national RPS experts from the utility, regulatory, and business arenas.
Workshop Topics:
- Design of RPS Policies

Without Retail Competition
