In this region with favourable natural conditions, the group has nearly 30% of its domestic wind assets.
Two new wind farms are located in the Aude department.
The Conilhac wind farm has 9.2 MW in installed capacity and consists of four 2.3 MW Enercon wind turbines.

Located in Aumelas town in the Herault department, the Vallee de l’Herault wind farm consists of seven 2 MW Vestas wind turbines with an installed capacity of 14 MW. This wind farm is an extension of the Aumelas 1 and 2 wind farms of 48 MW in total installed capacity, commissioned in 2005 and 2009 and operated by the group.
Annual output from the three latest facilities will produce the equivalent of the electricity consumption of around 43,000 inhabitants.
