WIDESPREAD APPROVAL FOR EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN 2005
Widespread approval for Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2005, the Italian exhibition dedicated to wind energy which will be held in Rome from 29 September to 1 October 2005.
The event, which ranks among the first 4 worldwide fairs of this sector, is at its fourth edition and, seven month from its inauguration, has already aroused great interest from the most important international firms of the sector that have already confirmed their presence.
Among these, we can mention: GE Energy, Vestas, Gamesa, Nordex, Repower, Enercon, Garrad Hassan, Ecotecnia, Nuova Magrini Galileo, Asja, Eech, Leitwind, Icq Holding, Lahmeyer.
Few days after the application of the Kyoto Protocol, the choice of renewable energy resources is a theme which is getting more and more current.
Wind energy is becoming one of the most promising and practical alternatives to conventional energy sources, which, as everyone knows, have collateral effects such as pollution and greenhouse gases.
Regarding this matter, Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2005 is the ideal opportunity for exchange and analysis on the environment and politics of wind energy development in Italy and Mediterranean countries.
This year, as in previous editions, there will be a rich program which features a large number of conferences elaborated in collaboration with ANEV –National Association for Wind Energy, APER Association of the Producers of Renewable Energy, Legambiente, Kyoto Club Italy and ISES Italy.
The conferences, supplied with simultaneous translation will be held in the wonderful setting of the well-equipped “Palafiera” Conference Centre in Rome.
It is interesting to remember that simultaneously to Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2005, will also be held CO2 Expo 2005. This is the first fair/conference dedicated to the climate and to the market of the emission of greenhouse gases, which was started up on 1 January 2005 in Europe, and involves over 1,000 manifacturing companies in Italy alone.
