Wind Industry Profile of

This week: The Hannover Messe 2013 is about to start

There are huge things to come as we are looking ahead: The Hannover Messe 2013, the world's biggest industrial fair, is about to start next week on Monday, April 8th. Windfair will also be there with a community booth.

In recent years Hall 27 has become the home of one of the leading trade fair of the wind energy industry. There you will find all the big players showing off their technology, components and services.

Windfair will join in again this year with its traditional community booth joined by eight further companies, namely Hauff-Technik, Bijur Delimon, DBK, ws tools, the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Elmeko, FWT Trade and OAT Osterholz AntriebsTechnik. They all benefit from an all over service package including fair construction and catering all day.

Furthermore the lounge offers space for holding press conferences – a service which our fellow exhibitor FWT Trade will use on Tuesday, April 9th, to present themselves to the public as the successor of Fuhrländer.

The Windfair Online Editorial Team will be present in Hanover just like the German Federal Environment Minister Peter Altmaier. He is also the patron of the wind fair and will greet the visitors and speak about the highly discussed 'Energiewende'. We are looking forward to see if he will also mention the last climate summit in Germany two weeks ago which ended without any important results.

But the Hannover Messe is also attractive besides politics. The Forum Renewable Energy e.g. will also take place in Hall 27. The Forum is organized by the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) and will be host for many different events like speeches about the 'Energiewende', talks about smart grids or introductions of technical innovations. This year's partner country Russia will be present and show off how renewable energies expand in their country.

The energy trade fair will be located in Halls 11 and 12 – right next to the wind trade fair. Both programs show a great number of completions, so visitors should also take a look into their programs as renewable energies play a great role in the future of industry.
