Five Leaseholders Join Together to Advance California’s First Offshore Wind Projects
California’s first-ever offshore wind leaseholders now have a unified voice. The American Clean Power Association (ACP) announced the establishment of the California Council of Offshore Wind Leaseholders (CCOWL), a council within ACP-California (ACP-CA) dedicated to fostering the emerging California floating offshore wind market and advancing the state’s first projects. “Offshore wind’s untapped potential on the West Coast could be the key to achieving California’s ambitious climate and reliability goals while supporting regional jobs and community opportunities,” said Molly Croll, Pacific Offshore Wind Director, American Clean Power Association.... ...
