Copenhagen Offshore Partners submits Environmental Impact Assessment for Ichnusa OWF

Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP), a world leader in development and construction of offshore wind projects, has submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Ichnusa Wind Power Project to the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE).

The submission marks Italy’s third floating wind farm project to reach EIA submission and the first for a floating wind project off the Sardinian coast. COP is leading development for Ichnusa on behalf of the project’s owners, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners through its Flagship Funds, and GreenIT, the joint venture owned 51% by Plenitude (Eni) and 49% by CDP Equity.
