ERG starts operations of Creag Riabhach wind farm in Scotland

Scotland: Creag Riabhach wind farm started up
ERG has started up the Creag Riabhach wind farm in the county of Sutherland, in northern Scotland.
ERG has managed the design and construction operations of the wind farm, with a total installed capacity of 92.4 MW (based on 22 4.2 MW Enercon E115 turbines) and an overall production at full capacity of 271 GWh per year, equivalent to the needs of around 67,000 households, avoiding the emission of 125 kt of CO2 per year. A large amount of the electricity produced by the wind farm will be covered by a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with ENGIE UK Markets Ltd, a company belonging to the ENGIE group.
