Vineyard Wind and the University of New Hampshire Partner on Acoustic Monitoring for Marine Mammals
Agreement will allow for important data collection that will guide construction and O&M practices
Vineyard Wind, a joint venture between Avangrid Renewables, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR), and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), today announced a new multi-year collaboration with the University of New Hampshire (UNH) to deploy a Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) device to record ambient sound and marine mammal species vocalizations in the OCS-A 501 lease area.
