Capital Energy and Siemens Gamesa pioneer the use of three special rotor blade lifters in Europe

As part of the logistical work for the construction of Capital Energy's first Asturian wind farm, Buseco, Capital Energy and Siemens Gamesa used three special machines to vertically transport the three rotor blades.

It's the first time that this technology with 65-metre rotor blades has been used in Europe.

The Spanish Buesco wind farm, which is scheduled to be operational in the first third of 2022, will have a capacity of 50 MW distributed among 10 SG 5.0-132 turbines and will generate 129,000 MWh of clean energy annually, equivalent to the consumption of about 54,000 Asturian households.
