RE-LAUNCHED - REvolutionaries: The Steve Sawyer Memorial Award | Apply Now!

In light of delays and difficulties related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the REvolutionaries award is re-opening the application period for the Latin America and Caribbean edition. Applications will reopen for submission on 8 December 2021, and will close on 30 January 2022. The application materials are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Further details are below and on the website.

GWEC, Greenpeace International and REN21 are calling all young renewable energy leaders in Latin America working in the public sector, private sector or civil society, to apply for the second edition of the REvolutionaries: The Steve Sawyer Memorial Award, established to empower young pioneers working on accelerating the clean energy transition in developing countries in honour of the life’s work of GWEC’s late CEO Steve Sawyer.

Steve was a tenacious renewable energy warrior, and his firm belief in renewable energy as climate change solution continues to inspire those in the climate and renewables sector. Reflecting Steve’s values, the award seeks to empower young people working on the frontiers of the renewable energy revolution with a comprehensive prize package emphasising investment, study and thought leadership.

If you, your colleague, or your friend are a REvolutionary like Steve, apply to the award before 30 January 2022!

Leadership

A track record of self-starting and professional leadership positions.

Renewable Energy
