GE Renewable Energy receives official planning approval for its Teesside blade manufacturing plant
Local Planning Authorities have approved the plans for the upcoming blade manufacturing plant in Teesside to be operated by LM Wind Power / This is a key milestone before start of the construction, planned later in 2021
GE Renewable Energy announced today that it has received the official planning approval for its Teesside offshore wind blade manufacturing plant from the Local Planning Authorities. This is the first major milestone in the lead up to the construction of this state-of-the art facility on the South Bank of Teesworks. The plant construction should begin later in 2021 upon the finalization of all contractual documents.
