More than 150 Km of cables will provide green and clean energy to 1.2 million German households
Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, has been awarded a contract worth above €60 million by Ørsted — the world’s largest offshore wind farm developer— for the design, supply, termination and testing of inter-array submarine cable systems for the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms. The completion of both projects is expected by 2024. The Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms will be located approximately 60 km from each other in the German North Sea and will be built simultaneously.
