Offshore Industry Sets Priority Areas for Working on UK Supply Chain

The Offshore Wind Industry Council has set out the priority areas in which it is working with the Government to support the development of the UK’s rapidly growing supply chain.

Recognising the economic opportunity created by the Prime Minister’s decision to set a target of 40GW of offshore wind by 2030, the industry has identified turbine blades, towers, monopile foundations and power cables as the prime areas in which the UK can secure new investment to boost our domestic manufacturing capabilities.
