NTR Fund Acquires French Wind Farm

The project located in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of France was acquired by the NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II, a wind, solar and energy storage fund that operates across a number of European markets. Total costs for the project, comprised of 22 Vestas turbines, amount to over €90 million. The wind farm has recently commenced operations.

Manus O‘Donnell, Chief Investment Officer of NTR, said: “Artigues et Ollières wind farm is a substantial onshore wind project in size for France which avails of a 20 year government-backed tariff. The project is a highly attractive addition to our NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II portfolio, bringing clean power to the equivalent of a further 25,000 homes.”

The project was acquired from independent French developer Eco Delta towards the end of its construction.
