Deutsche Windtechnik acquires GFW – Together even stronger than before in international turbine service

Effective 01.01.2020, Europe's leading independent service provider Deutsche Windtechnik AG has acquired 100 percent of the shares in GFW Gesellschaft für Windenergieanlagen GmbH & Co KG. The aim is to further strengthen the companies in their international growth and to increase their capacity to provide maintenance for wind turbines.

GFW will retain its name for the time being and will be structurally integrated as a unit under Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service. Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka, the Managing Directors at Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service, will jointly manage the business unit together with GFW Managing Director Jürgen Fuhrländer.
