Group FabDelta to supply Siemens with wind turbine hubs in Québec

Hubs will be used in the Mont Sainte-Marguerite wind project

Siemens Wind Power Limited today announced Québec-based Group FabDelta inc. has been selected as the supplier of wind turbine hubs for the Mont Sainte-Marguerite project located in the municipalities of Saint-Sylvestre, Saint-Séverin, and Sacré-Cœur-de-Jésus, Québec. The selection of Group FabDelta was an integral element in the supply agreement with Pattern Energy Group LP, owner of the Saint Marguerite project.

Group FabDelta has been a manufacturing partner to the wind industry in Quebec for almost 15 years, and the company’s expertise and capacity make them an ideal supplier for Siemens.

Mr. François Arsenault, president of Group FabDelta inc., underlined the extensive and close support of Siemens Wind Power throughout the realization of this important project and expressed his pride in supporting Siemens Wind Power’s success in North America.

The Mont Sainte Marguerite wind project will utilize 46 Siemens innovative 3.2 MW direct drive wind turbines, generating 147 MW annually and providing clean energy for up to 55,000 homes.
