BLG at WAB’s joint booth in Husum

BLG WindEnergy Logistics presents its logistics services for the offshore sector at WAB’s joint booth 2B09, measuring 400 square meters, at HUSUM WindEnergy 2012. BLG’s range of services includes organization and management of logistics chains from procurement and production to storage and transport all the way to installation at sea. In Bremerhaven BLG has set up an offshore terminal, at which even foundation structures for offshore facilities weighing up to 900 tons and 65 meters high are stored temporarily until they are shipped to the installation vessels. BLG transports the so-called tripods for the offshore fields Global Tech 1 and Trianel Wind Farm Borkum by means of the special pontoon OFFSHORE BHV I from the manufacturers Weserwind in Fischereihafen and SIAG in Emden to the offshore terminal. There finishing work is carried out in some cases before the components are stored until shipment to the installation vessels.
