Vestas has received an order for the Supply and Installation (S&I) of 46 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines from Vestas’ EnVentus platform for CS Energy’s Lotus Creek Wind Farm, located in Central Queensland. With a generation capacity of 285 MW, Vestas will also deliver a long-term Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring optimal energy production to the Australian grid.

Ørsted, the global leader in offshore wind, is deploying heavy-lift cargo drones (HLCD) for the first time in an operational campaign at the Borssele 1&2 Offshore Wind Farm. This pioneering move marks a significant leap forward in operational efficiency and safety in the offshore wind industry. The Award Follows the Capacity Reservation Agreement Announced in September 2023 - Prysmian and Marinus Link Pty Ltd. have finalised an around €600 million contract for a new power interconnector between Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. The commencement of the works is subject to the issuance of a notice to proceed, which is expected by August 2025.
